About Me

I recently moved back to New York from Minneapolis, Minnesota, where I had been working primarily as a nanny, writer and teacher of comedy to both children, teens, and adults with disabilities. I am a very creative person who adores encouraging creativity in all children.

When working with children, I believe they work best with structure, boundaries, and an infinite amount of love. I’m a lover of music and take every opportunity to sing and dance with kids. I play piano and tour a show nationally in which I improvise songs while playing the piano. I would love to find a family to work with who is fun, loving, and creative.

I have professional childcare experience with…

Infants, Toddlers, Pre-school aged children, Elementary school aged children, Middle school aged children, Children with special needs

I will be SmartSitting while…

Writing comedy shows and taking improv classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade

In 5 years, I hope to be…

Performing and writing comedy full-time.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children…

Crafts (Ie: coloring, beading, making robots out of found materials, anything and everything to do with glitter glue)

Improv Comedy for kids: Encouraging creativity through structured play. Helping them create and make believe!

Dance (Irish dance, ballet, tap dance, general fun dancing!)

Writing of stories, poems, plays and songs. Singing!
