About Me

Since graduating college, I’ve been happily working toward both of my passions – acting and teaching. Nothing brings me greater joy than the experience of sharing a story and a journey with an audience when I’m onstage, or helping a child make a discovery or live his or her own joy. I have been fortunate enough to spend a great deal of time as a teaching artist exposing young children to Shakespeare’s language for the first time, which has always been incredibly rewarding for me and thrilling for so many children. I’ve worked as a teaching artist, theatre director, camp counselor, outdoor program leader, babysitter, and children’s theatre performer – and each experience has been as creatively rejuvenating and fulfilling for me as the time I spend acting.

I am a creative, optimistic, dedicated individual. I love working with kids on homework, creative projects, and active and imaginative play. I encourage both structure and fun and I am happy to help out with tasks around the house as time permits. I am also extremely prompt, resourceful, good with pets, and avoid “screen” use during my sitting time as a top priority! Due to my many years as a part-time sitter with various agencies, I have gotten extremely adept at quickly relating to new children of all ages easily. I’d love to meet your family!
