About Me

Throughout the last seven years, I have always found my way back to working with children, enriching their lives creatively and educationally, while supporting their emotional and physical needs. While teaching dance classes for under-privileged students for two years, I have deeply enjoyed sharing my love and passion for dance with young children.

After teaching through after-school programs at the Lawrenceville school and summer camps, such as the Allegro Camp, until the end of high school, I then reverted back to ESF Summer camps after beginning college. There, I was a senior camp counselor, entertaining and bringing educational enrichment to our group of 12-year-olds, the Pathfinders as we were called. Through indoor and outdoor activities as a counselor, I strived every day to make sure each child was fulfilled at the end of the day, leading games and activities that would teach thoughtfulness, team playing, and creative strategy, as well as physical activity. We always followed intense safety protocol throughout the entire day, ensuring the safety and security of the campers at all times.

I am a solid cook and love to bake. My parents raised me on healthy foods, so my lifestyle is an extremely healthy one. I have also been babysitting on and off for five years for families of varying backgrounds and children of varying interests and personalities. As a dancer, I am athletic and energetic and therefore love to keep children engaged in physical activity that is educational and also fun. I also love to bring music into the mix. Music can not only help to gain focus in a chaotic situation but it can also be soothing and relaxing before children go to bed. I love to share what I’ve learned on guitar and piano with the children I babysit for, as well as my love for art. I paint and draw for my own enjoyment, after studying it throughout school. Outside of childcare, I enrich my own life with music, theater, art museums, walks through central park, drawing and painting, among other things. I enjoy being able share art, use imagination, and throw in fun physical activities, while also maintaining a safe and secure environment.
