About Me

When I was 12 years old, I posted an ad on a community bulletin board advertising my services as a babysitter and my career in childcare began. Over 15 years later, it’s been my privilege to be welcomed into the intimate home lives of a multitude of families, and to serve in summer camp and after school programs. I have worked with children in all stages of development from infancy through young adulthood, from changing diapers to teaching leadership skills, and found great joy and satisfaction in all of it. My sharp, detail oriented mind lends itself well to event planning and personal assistance, and I am a trained massage therapist, a Kundalini yoga teacher and a passionate cook and baker. I was a vegetarian for about 10 years, and am well versed in allergies and dietary restrictions of all kinds.

When working with children, I create a secure, structured environment while leaving plenty of room for creative fun. While I adore reading, I’m a strong advocate for learning through experience and play. I taught community service learning for two years while in college and enjoy sharing my enthusiasm for volunteering with the young people in my life. Serving others is a wonderful way to learn about yourself and the world around you, and to cultivate a deep sense of gratitude. This spirit of devotional service marks everything that I do.
