About Me

As a native New Yorker, the city was my playground. If you’ve ever been to the Union Square Holiday Market, you may have seen my jewelry booth, Wink and Flip. Being a great sitter has a lot in common with being an entrepreneur. I am always one step ahead, but also able to think on my feet. Parents value that I’m dependable, responsible and put safety above all else. Kids appreciate that I’m patient, energetic, flexible, and I’ve managed all the kinds of growing pains they go through.

Friends call me the “baby whisperer,” since I easily connect with children and bring a mixture of fun and structure to a child’s environment. I know the importance of playtime, as well as a schedule. My sitting experiences have varied from parents who believe in “no media,” to a toddler with her own iPad. I adore the children I sit for, and they respond to my care with feelings of happiness and security. In my spare time, I work on my business, run and cook healthy meals.

I have professional childcare experience with…

Infants, Toddlers, Pre-school aged children, Elementary school aged children, Multiples

I will be SmartSitting while…

Running my jewelry company, Wink and Flip.

In 5 years, I hope to be…

Growing online presence for my company.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children…

I love to read to children, involve them in the kitchen, and get them to create projects. I demonstrate manners and like to make up jingles that teach them about responsibility.
