All throughout my college education, which has lasted over the past ten years, I have worked with children of all ages in many different capacities. I have been a babysitter, nanny, preschool teacher, tutor, student teacher, and a substitute teacher. I have worked with infants at six weeks of age, up to elementary-aged children. I have found that my passion in life is to be an integral part of children’s lives, whether it be as a caretaker, tutor, or teacher. My warm-hearted and kind, yet firm nature has proven to be extremely successful in working with children. I am always finding ways to better myself as an educator, finding new ways to engage children of all ages.
I have experience writing and implementing curriculum for children of all ages, which not only comes in handy as a teacher, but as a nanny as well. I am able to structure an environment that enables children to grow and succeed. This structure entails establishing routines and setting goals for them to achieve. I am an avid reader, and I make it a mission of mine to inspire a love of reading in all children. I believe that life should be fun, and create whatever opportunities I can for children to explore and learn through engaging activities.
