About Me

I’ve been trained as a theatre artist and educator, and I’m always revved up to share my passion for education and theatre with everyone I meet. I am originally from the Bay Area, California and have spent a lot time working with kids of all ages. After working at Castilleja Summer Camp, I found a new passion for empowering young people to be confident individuals and enthusiastic teammates. I love spending time with kids because they have taught me how to enjoy the simple things in life.

I avidly believe that theatre productions and practices can be used to discover our personal, societal, and universal mysteries and commonalities. Throughout my time at Smith College, I had opportunities to explore these ideas working nationally and internationally. One day, I hope to meld my two passions together and use theatre practices as a means of inspiring young people to be their confident, genuine, and goofy selves.

Now that I am back on the East Coast, I am diving right into the New York theatre scene looking for new opportunities to work with play development teams. Nevertheless, I still want to pursue my other passion and find a family that I can support and provide the utmost care for. You can find me either exploring the city, reading a heart-wrenching play, drinking a good cup of coffee, or laughing at a ridiculously corny joke.

I have professional childcare experience with…

Toddlers, Pre-school aged children, Elementary school aged children, Middle school aged children, Multiples

I will be SmartSitting while…

Pursuing evening theatre opportunities.

In 5 years, I hope to be…

Based in New York, but traveling nationally and internationally with a theatre company that creates pieces that explore the human condition.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children…

I know how to cook, bake, pretend, play games, tell jokes, sing songs, be resourceful, and I can speak a little bit of Spanish and Xhosa (South African language).
