My current job has re-awakened my passion for education and childcare, as I aspire to be a Special Education teacher in the near future. I love children, and since I am an only child, I have an appreciation for large families. I would love to find a large family, or an only child, who is in search of a sitter/mentor who can provide fun (and even educational!) activities.
Born and raised in New Jersey, I moved to Boston in 2006 to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College. During this time, and throughout high school, I babysat young children (9 months-6 years) as well tutored a first-grade student in English and math. After graduating, I spent another year in Boston working as a writer and editor for an online news/marketing company.
In September of 2011, I moved to NYC and joined the Department of Education. My hobbies include practicing yoga, cooking, reading, playing with my adorable beagle, watching cooking shows, and exploring NYC.
