I am thrilled to have moved to NYC from North Carolina. Recently, I worked with a touring children’s theatre company, which was wonderful because two of the things I am most passionate about collided. I have over 6 years of experience caring for and teaching dance to children. I strive to lead a healthy life-style, and love sharing my love of nature, exercise, and healthy eating with kids.
From an early age, I began taking care for my younger brother while my parents worked long hours. This taught me patience, resourcefulness, and the importance of a nurturing relationship. I was able to translate these lessons I learned from caring for my brother to my time assisting and teaching at dance studios. There is nothing I love more than sharing my love of the arts with kids. Not only was I able to explore my interest in teaching, but I was also able to mentor and develop caring and trusting relationships with my students. My goal is that children feel safe, nurtured and respected in my care, while always continuing to learn and grow.
