About Me

Since my own adolescence, I have experienced first-hand the value of youth engagement and education outside of a school setting. We are constantly learning and working with children provides countless teaching moments for both parties. Working as an informal youth educator and song leader has given me the opportunity to share my passion for music and songwriting with young learners; facilitating artistic growth and expression with all the children I have had the privilege of working with. Volunteering as the Drama, Music, Math teacher and Choir director for Pathfinder Academy in Kenya reinforced my belief that a creative outlet is invaluable as children develop a sense of identity. Along with theater and music, I enjoy running and cycling in Central Park, attending comedy and improv shows, coordinating a regular board-games night with friends and exploring the galleries and museums New York has to offer.

I am committed to providing children with a safe and structured environment filled with creative play and exciting new experiences. I also love to share my passion for healthy eating and cooking – encouraging thoughtfulness and intention with lifestyle choices.
I view babysitting is a direct opportunity to encourage healthy and expressive emotional development. I am deeply honored to have a part in any child’s learning experience and endeavor to make it as meaningful and memorable as possible.
