About Me

Upon completing graduate school and moving to New York, I have been enjoying helping others keep their lives orderly and pleasant as both a SmartSitter and an Executive Assistant at a Hedge Fund, while pursuing my career as a musical theater performer.

I have worked as a sitter for children of all ages and families of varying backgrounds, as well as teaching dance (ballet, jazz, and tap), to children ages 3 to 18. Due to my role as an Executive Assistant, I’m able to assist families in keeping on schedule and helping to get thing accomplished in a timely manner. Personally, I try to eat very healthy, and I do my best to eat unprocessed food and cook for myself in my own kitchen, and enjoy educating kids about food.

In regarding my approach to children, I am very calm but playful. I like to keep order and I do my best to encourage and teach good habits, like consistent “please” and “thank you,” but also have tons of energy and like to have fun and play with kids. I am devoted to encouraging the growth of a child both intellectually and artistically in structured and safe environment. I feel that by encouraging a child’s interests, whether it is by building a fortress out of Legos or taking them to play soccer, or to music lessons, I am able to play a small part in molding whom a child becomes, and that is a huge part of what makes sitting an amazing experience. When I’m not SmartSitting or assisting, I usually can be found in dance class, having a voice lesson, or exploring my neighborhood, the Upper West Side.

I have professional childcare experience with…
