About Me

I am an actress and I love taking care of and playing with children. I am punctual, helpful, patient, and I have a cheerful, positive personality, which makes me a great person to work with little ones. With my background as a drama and dance teacher, I am an engaging, energetic, sensitive, and caring person, and I enjoy nurturing and encouraging creativity, as well as finding educational opportunities in everyday life. My work with Barrington Stage’s KidsAct! involved teaching kids dance as well as theater improv games and helping them write an original one-act musical based on their improvisations.

In the past five years, I have worked with New York City families of a diverse array of backgrounds as a babysitter, nanny and family assistant. My goal is to keep kids engaged in structured activities, especially games and activities that encourage learning, like making a volcano out of baking soda and vinegar, or activities that involve creative expression, like singing, yoga, drawing, and art projects. One of my favorite activities to keep kids engaged yet calm, relaxed, and focused is to read them stories, or for early readers, facilitate their learning and help them sound out challenging words one syllable at a time.

As a Pilates teacher and dancer, I am dedicated to health and wellness, and I am happy to encourage healthy eating and prepare healthy meals. I am also happy to help with personal assistant duties. With my 3.8/4.0 GPA and graduation Magna Cum Laude from Muhlenberg college, I am qualified to be an intelligent mentor to your children. I am also open to learning as much or more from them as I might teach them. Furthermore, I believe in being as consistent, honest, and nurturing as possible with children in the values and messages I send.
