About Me

Since graduating from college, I moved to NY to pursue an acting career; yet my love for people and design has led me into a career as a Real Estate broker with the prestigious Corcoran Group in SoHo. Through my experiences on and off the stage I have had the opportunity to work with kids in every age group. Being the youngest of four kids, family has always meant a lot to me. Their support and constant encouragement over the years has helped me become who I am today, and I hope to create that same stable and encouraging environment for each family by providing care for their child/children.

I am originally from Allentown, PA, but after high school I moved to Hartford, CT to study music theatre at The Hartt School of Music, Theatre and Dance. Though my class schedule was demanding, I graduated with Honors and led extra curricular groups both on and off campus. I was active in volunteer work around the Hartford area as well as leading and teaching music at various local churches. After each school year, I became involved in counseling at several children’s summer theatre camps. For these summer camps I would create lesson plans that would engage and challenge each child, as well as help them better understand the arts. In 2011, I also studied Commedia Dell’arte (a form of theater characterized by masked “types”) in Prato, Italy. I love sports and have a great time playing football, basketball, soccer, baseball, lacrosse, and even ultimate frisbee! I have also taken many art classes in different mediums such as charcoal, oil paints, watercolors, and sculpting. I enjoy cooking, playing guitar, piano, saxophone, doing arts and crafts, helping with homework, playing games, reading, writing music, exploring the city’s parks, museums, and anything else that comes my way!

I have professional childcare experience with…

Toddlers, Pre-school aged children, Elementary school aged children, Middle school aged children, Multiples

I will be SmartSitting while…

Expanding my business as a Real Estate broker with The Corcoran Group in SoHo.

In 5 years, I hope to be…

A successful Real Estate broker, married to my fiance, and getting ready to have kids of my own!

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children…

I love to cook, play any kind of sport, explore New York City, and I love to draw. A child's curiosity and eagerness to learn always fascinates me and I love to teach kids the things that I enjoy doing because I always find that I end up learning something from them in return!
