I’ve been working with kids for about the past five years. Before leaving for my freshman year of college, I taught theatre at a local summer theater camp. While on breaks from school, I was a teaching assistant at a daycare in eastern Pennsylvania, where I grew up. I’ve been babysitting in the city for almost three years now, specifically with children with special needs.
I’m always finding new ways to use my experience in theatre when working with kids, such as, teaching a boy about 8-counts to help him with Just Dance, or helping his sister write and direct her own play for school. It was based on Candyland and it was awesome!
