About Me

Since graduating with a master’s degree in Women’s & Gender Studies, and pursuing a career in social justice, I have found myself going back to my passion for working with children. When I started college, I intended to be an Elementary School teacher, but followed my passion for politics and social justice instead. Now, I am combining my work in social justice with my passion for children. I feel strongly that all children deserve the best care, the utmost respect, and the opportunity to thrive. It is through this passion that I’ve taken on work at the Boys & Girls Club, and as a Sex Educator for urban youth.

Currently, I’m working as an Adjunct Instructor at a university teaching courses in sociology and philosophy. My commitment to inspiring intellectual curiosity in my college-aged students extends to children of all ages as well. I love discovery and exploration with children, and instilling the notion that the sky is the limit. After all, childhood is the time to dream big, imagine the possibilities, and have fun!
