About Me

After graduating from Brown University, I worked for two years as a middle school teacher with the national service program Teach for America in Rhode Island. I love working with young learners and have babysat, tutored, and mentored children of all ages. Currently, I am pursuing a graduate degree in writing at The New School. I look forward to combining my work with youth and my passion for literacy and arts in my long-term professional pursuits.

When working with children, I am devoted to encouraging structure and safety alongside fun and educational activities. I love to cook and bake healthy treats, I enjoy doing yoga, and I am an avid reader and writer. Since moving to New York City, I have also been taking advantage of all the city has to offer.
