I am a visual artist, actress and choreographer based in Brooklyn. Since moving to New York from Washington DC, I have been focusing on using my skills as a creator, dancer and theatre artist to enrich children’s lives and inspire them in a safe, playful environment.
My work with children intimately tied to my passion for arts education. In DC, I interned at Dance Place, one of the premier dance theaters in Washington, working with kids in the after-school program. I have taught dance at PS 166 on the Upper West Side, as part of the after-school enrichment program. Additionally, I volunteer with New York Cares and have worked with children in a wide range of capacities and neighborhoods: cooking healthy snacks with middle-schoolers in Queens, painting murals in the Bronx, and playing freeze-dance with kindergartners in Harlem.

I am CPR/First-Aid certified. I speak Spanish and know a lot of kids songs in Spanish. I love to cook, especially healthy meals, as well as to do little cooking projects with kids. In the past, I've made spicy roasted eggplant, herbal caffeine-free iced tea, homemade pizza and other fun treats with the children I babysit.
