About Me

Theatre has given me a great appreciation for working with children. It is a great tool to teach and interact with budding minds and bountiful amounts of both energy and creativity. I have taught playwriting and text classes, encouraging critical thinking and the development of vocabulary to children as young as five. Likewise, I’ve taught movement classes that have kids up on their feet to tell tall tales. Having an active lifestyle, I have an affinity for sports and healthy eating and I consider myself a great cook.

With children, I like to share my love of theatre, sports and food. The stories you can find in plays and paperbacks give great examples of heroism, critical thinking, empathy, and a brain stimulating relief. Sports, along with being active, allow fun in a structured and guided way. Cooking, which is a favored past-time of mine, brings together fun, health and knowledge of both what tastes good and what helps your body run.
