About Me

I have always loved working with children and babysitting. I found my calling in the early childhood field when I began teaching at the Children’s International Workshop in 2010 right after graduating at NYU. The excitement and wonder of teaching kids about music was so life-changing to me that I began to think of a career in early childhood education, which ended up leading me toward Music Therapy as a profession. This fall I plan to begin my Masters in Music Therapy.

As a teacher/babysitting I always ensure that fun is had while safety and responsibility is at 100%. I am known for being strict in safety and manners, but very silly and free when it comes to playtime and imagination. I love music and have spent my whole life singing, playing and learning about music. I have been babysitting on and off through high school and college, and post-college, but have had many part time jobs while finding my path. That said, I recently started interning at Sing for Hope, an organization which sends volunteer artists to people who don’t normally have access to the arts and music. It’s reinvigorated my sense of helping others, which has always been an important part of what makes me tick.

I have professional childcare experience with…

Infants, Toddlers, Pre-school aged children, Elementary school aged children, Middle school aged children, Multiples
