About Me

I love to act and create and do basically anything artistic. I love working with children because I feel I can give them a unique perspective. I love using my artistic abilities to change a difficult learning experience into a fun one, whether that means acting out a story in a book they’re reading or turning their math problems into an art project or simply learning to explore their surroundings as if they are solving a mystery so they can work on observational skills.

Along with acting, I enjoy people watching in and around the city, going for walks, spending time playing games with my family and friends. I dabble in writing and I sing nearly every day and I love math. I’ve always found joy in playing sports (particularly basketball and volleyball) though I’m not very good. And though I certainly wouldn’t call myself a cook, I’m learning that making a meal from a recipe isn’t terribly difficult. I’m also involved in an up and coming theatre/performance company called Grey Room, which is dedicated to creating something out of nothing (whether it be beautiful or ugly or anywhere in between). This philosophy also guides my life and my childcare philosophy.

I have professional childcare experience with…

Infants, Toddlers, Pre-school aged children, Elementary school aged children, Middle school aged children

I will be SmartSitting while…
