I have been a nanny and babysitter for eight years in the Boston area. I love children because they are so honest and they give never-ending reasons to laugh and keep a sense of humor. Safety is of great importance to me, so my number one goal is ensuring everyone’s safety, and at the end of the day, hoping the time we spent together involved some giggles.
I attended Emerson College and majored in Theatre Studies Performance, which allowed me many opportunities to be a teacher’s assistant and get a head start on my interests in becoming a teacher. While at school, I made many new relationships with families in the city, and I also commuted home to keep helping families and kids I had watched since my freshman year in high school. I have also been a hip-hop dance teacher at a local dance school in my home town, worked for Build-A-Bear, and most recently taught an acting voice class for kids ages 12-16 at Wheelock Family Theatre.
Two of my greatest passions outside of childcare and theatre are yoga and dance. I find they are the best tools to stay centered and active, as well as great opportunities to be part of a community and make new friends.
