We’re babysitters too – we get it. We understand just how daunting the search for a babysitting job can be. You’re not just looking for a babysitting job – you’re looking to join a family. At the same time, you want be paid well, respected, and able to communicate effectively with your supervisor. We’re here to help find the best nanny or babysitting job for you.

Just as we get to know you during our screening process, we speak with and often meet each family to better understand their needs, dynamics and values. We’ll match you with families based on personality, experience, location and schedule.
We respond to emails, text messages and phone calls in a matter of minutes. We are most comfortable referring babysitters and nannies who are also speedy and reliable communicators.
Daily Updates on Job Opportunities
We provide detailed information on each position, including job schedule, children’s ages, general location and daily responsibilities. We’ll reach out to you directly if we think we’ve found a great babysitting position for you. You may apply for multiple babysitting jobs through our job dashboard, and we will send your information through to the family if we believe it’s a great match. View some of our current open jobs.
Interview Scheduling and Trial Sessions
We handle interview and trial scheduling. It’s important that both you and the family are excited to work together.
Reference Reports and Background Checks
Before you officially join the network, we reach out to references and run a background check. We keep these reports on file, and this accelerates the process of finalizing a babysitting job.
Family / Nanny Contract
Setting expectations and guidelines early on maximizes happiness for everyone involved. We’ll handle salary negotiations and work with families to establish rules and day-to-day responsibilities that are fair to you. In return, we ask that you go above and beyond to exceed these expectations.
We’re here for you to make sure you have the best possible experience whether you already have found a job or on the search. We hold monthly meet ups and discussion groups to provide support and to establish personal relationships with our team of directors and fellow SmartSitters in our network. Our network is your support system.
