We have worked with this family for years and we positively adore them (and not only because they'll give you your birthday off as a paid holiday)! This fabulous Village fam has a 7-year-old boy, a 5-year-old girl, and a 3-year-old girl. The working schedule is Sunday through Thursday. You'll work often with another nanny and split up the responsibilities, which include a lot of play time, some schlepping, meal prep, and clean up.
Rate is $28/hour gross + $42/hour overtime, for 40 hours/week guaranteed. Plus health insurance after 3 months. The position will start ASAP!

Being super playful and keeping the kids engaged in active, imaginative play is the #1 job here. Energy and enthusiasm counts for a lot. Take kids to school and activities, prep meals (lots of meal prep involved - and there's also help with other people on this front) and clean up afterwards, light straightening, kids' laundry, and clean up after activities. Must have a driver's license, and a passport, and must be willing to travel. Must be able to spend 10 weeks away in Vermont in the summer. Must be willing to sign confidentiality agreement and practice confidentiality at all times.

This lovely family is looking to work with a SmartSitter Monday through Friday, typically 3 PM - 8 PM, with the ability to work a morning shift 7:15-830 AM 3-4 mornings a week. On these days that you start early, you will have a mid-day break from 8:30-3:00. They ask that you work full days during school holidays and one weekend a month (8am-8pm).
They have four fabulous kids, boys 4&10, and girls, 8&5! There is almost always another adult and so you wouldn't be with all four kids at once. The core schedule is Monday through Friday, 1 PM - 6:30/7 PM, plus 1-2 regular date nights until 8 or 9 PM, plus full day coverage on sick days and school holidays. The hours will typically be 40 hours/week at most, and often fewer, and the family is happy to offer a guaranteed salary.
It's $24-25/hour for 40 hours/week guaranteed. The position will begin as soon as they find the right fit with interviews taking place in the evenings immediately.
Experience with early school aged kids and infants is paramount as they are expecting another baby girl. CPR certification is also expected. Someone who would be comfortable with both children as they may be with them both after the baby is born. **It should be noted that they will have a baby nurse at first and likely a part-time sitter for the older girl when the full-time person's schedule will shift to a more traditional schedule with the baby.

They love to read during meal time and always interacting with the girl, drawing with her, being involved in her activities, and verbally engaging her throughout the day together. Someone who can inspire the girl to try harder and continue to learn new things in life and succeed!
A background in childhood education is a plus! Someone who can assist her with her math, reading, and writing is a huge plus, too.
