About the Children
Boy, age 5 1/2, He is an imaginative boy. He is creative and always has a million questions. He is a gentle, kind soul who loves Power Rangers, skateboarding, and chess. He needs a little extra help with his letters and appropriate, intellectual stimulation. Boy, age 3 1/2, He is an energetic, physical boy who loves to play. He takes soccer and loves to kick the ball and run around in the park. He seeks a little extra attention and often asks his brother to play with him. He currently attends preschool. The boys have some excess energy, but they love each other and get along very well.
Pick up Jonah from preschool at 1 PM typically (occasionally at 2 PM), then pick up Abe from school. (Both schools are walkable in Brooklyn Heights) Take the boys to after school activities (in the neighborhood), the park, or home for games and homework. Possibly take the boys to swim in TriBeca. Make dinner for them (Mac n cheese, chicken with a veggie, etc.) and tidy up. Bath time. Load/empty dishwasher if necessary. They have a service that comes in the mornings to clean, make the beds, and fold the laundry, so no need to worry about that.
The parents travel a lot. They are looking for someone who can be flexible with their schedule when one or both parents are traveling. The parents are also looking for someone who could occasionally travel with the family if you are interested. The family is very warm, generous, and respectful employers.
