We have a wonderful new family in the UES looking for a new part time babysitter to assist with the after school routine. They will primarily be with the boy, 4, and caring for his older brother, 7, when he gets home. It's $25/hour for 25 hours/week. The position will begin in ASAP and there is some flexibility. Interviews will begin pretty quickly

Someone really kind and who is a genuine person. Both boys are really well behaved and thrive on structure. Someone athletic and active. Someone even keeled who can flow through the day with the boys. Someone professional and savvy who has great communication. Someone super comfortable with the parents being around from time to time as well since they are in and out working and can be super communicative and mindful of their interactions together. Flexibility to assist additionally outside the regular schedule and flexibility to travel with the family a few times a year would be great! A background in childhood education would be great, but not required.
The core schedule is: Monday - 12:00PM - 5:00 PM Tuesday - 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM Wednesday - 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM Thursday - 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM Friday - 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM With flexibility to stay late one night per week, family can guarantee 25 hours/week!
About the Children
boy, 4- He is quite calm and very rules driven. He loves structure. He loves music, too, and take piano. he takes painting and reading books. He is so snuggly and will become very attached to his new person. He is super bright and aware of what's going on around him. boy. 7- He is starting 1st grade and does traveling soccer! He loves loves loves sports and is very active. He loves to play chess and games of all kinds. He is the pickiest eater in the world, too. They get a long so well for the most part, and only have the occasional argument or tiff.
The position is primarily with the youngest. Picking up the kids from their separate schools, taking them to activities, organizing playdates, helping to occasionally prep dinner, and even more occasionally helping with their laundry.
