This returning SmartSitting family is looking for a new full-time nanny for their two daughters, ages 3 and 6. The family has two other nannies working part time, so the core schedule will be Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other weekend, so you'll be alternating working 3 or 5 days a week. The start time is 7:15 AM and the day will wrap up around 9:00 normally. Family is open to this position being live-in or live-out, and would prefer their nanny to be local.

Their ideal sitter will be fun and engaging! Someone who is smart and can help with homework would be really helpful. The family also values spontaneity and flexibility, someone who can go with the flow of their schedule. A good sense of humor is a must! This family wants someone who takes the job seriously, but doesn’t take themselves too seriously. Additionally, someone who is naturally genuinely curious and interested in the children and their hobbies.

About the Children
Girl, almost 6: in Kindergarten Girl, 3: goes to a preschool three times a week They’re good kids! Easy to get along with and love having fun. Super healthy and outgoing!
When you arrive in the morning you'll be getting the kids dressed, eating breaking, and ready for school. Then it's school drop off for one or both of the girls. You may be picking up the younger one from her preschool, feeding her lunch and then helping her go down for a nap. The afternoons involve taking the kids to their after school activities, usually tennis or ballet! Once home, you'll be feeding them dinner (only light cooking! the housekeeper will usually make dinner) and then helping them with bath, pajamas, and bedtime. On the weekends, you’ll be with both children all day. Parents will be home but still working - you’ll be responsible for them!
Flexibility to travel on the weekends is a must! This position is live-in or live-out, please include your preference in your application.
