Overview

This is a fabulous opportunity to spend 4 FLEX afternoons/week, plus one later night until 10 or 11 PM, with a super artsy 13-year-old girl who's super into drawing and painting, acting, dancing, and singing. They are looking for someone reliable, fun, and super creative to spend afternoons with her. If you sing or play an instrument you will get along with the girl swimmingly! It's $25/hour, 15 hours/week, The position will begin in January (1/7), with interviews taking place immediately.

The Ideal Sitter for this Job

Someone warm and creative who likes working with middle school kids and can supervise homework. Someone who can be a role model and someone the girl can talk to about what happened that day at school, help with homework, etc.

Schedule

The core schedule is 4 FLEX days/week. Ideally, it would be Tuesday and Thursday, from 4:15-7:15 PM; and Wednesday and Friday from 3:30-6:30 PM; plus one later night until 10 or 11 PM (typically Thursdays). There is also some flexibility in the days if someone has a slightly different schedule in terms of days; Monday, Wednesday OR Friday is flexible as long as they have 4 days/week. Flexibility to assist with additional late nights or full days for school holidays is a plus!

About the Children

Girl, 13- She is outgoing, upbeat, and likes all kind of arts - theatre, singing, dancing, drawing. She plays baseball and is really sweet. She has an older brother who is just starting college and will be in and out.

Responsibilities

Pick up at school a few blocks away, bring home or to after school activities, supervise homework, make dinner, get her into the shower. In the evenings if staying late they will help her with the full evening routine.
