We have a wonderful UES family with four kids looking to a new part-time sitter to join their full-time caregiver and mom to assist with the afternoon routine! They are looking for someone with experience from infants to teenagers who is CPR certified, easy going, and can go with the flow to truly be a proactive and organized set of hands on deck. It's $25/hour gross for 8-16 hours/week. The position will begin in early March!
The Ideal Sitter for this Job
Someone who has experience with all age groups and is equally comfortable with teenagers and infants! CPR certification is a must. Someone who can truly go with the flow and jump from care for the baby, to tidying up the kitchen, to throwing in a load of the kids' laundry, noting more milk is needed, running to the store for supplies, picking up the oldest kids from an activity or school etc. They are truly a second hand to mom to make sure things are running smoothly and everything is in it's place each day. Someone super proactive and organized who is thinking about what they need both in terms of the kids and the house. Someone super communicative and open to a team environment.
The core schedule through April, is Tuesday, from 3:30 to 7/7:30 PM; and Friday 2-6 PM. Flexibility to stay later until 9 or 10 PM, too! In May, they schedule would shift to Monday, from 2:30-6:30/7 PM; Tuesday and Wednesday, from 3:30 to 7/7:30 PM; and Friday 2-6 PM. Flexibility to stay later until 9 or 10 PM, too! They are flexible in having multiple sitters, so please note your full availability in your application. The family can typically be flexible with a great sitter if they can be flexible in turn, too!

Helping get the kids from school, taking them to activities, helping with homework, getting them ready for bed and tidying up from the day, etc. Noting when they are running low on a certain food or household supply and occasionally running a quick errand in the neighborhood. The sitter must be very comfortable and experienced with infants - even though the job would mostly be with the oldest kids initially.
