About the Children
Girl, 15 - She is fun, spunky, humorous, and loves to laugh! She absolutely loves Broadway shows, so if you have that in common she would love it. She loves to be creative as well.
You'll meet their daughter at the bus stop near their home at 4pm. Once home, you'll help her with occasional homework, make dinner, but mostly help her get sorted and organized for the next day. The family would love a sitter who has experience with teens with autism and can eventually begin to help her with some tasks that will strengthen her independence, like going out and purchasing things from the store, making change, etc. Once a week she goes to a social group in the evenings until 8:30pm, which you would go to with her and leave afterwards.
This family has room for a live-in sitter if needed!
