The Ideal Sitter for this Job
Someone warm and friendly, yet firm when need be. If the kids are getting out of hand, they need someone who can step in and take charge in a calm and directed way to refocus the kids. Someone who has experience with special needs is a huge plus, but this is not required. Someone warm and loving who can also connect with the kids and make them happy while making sure they are structured and maintain the boundaries in a friendly and light way. The language they use is so important in this aspect as well, "I didn't like the way that felt with my body when you were rougher."Someone confident who can take control even around mom who has absolute trust in her sitters.
The core schedule is 3-4 FLEX days, Monday to Friday, from 3-6 PM. Flexibility to assist later on occasion and for full days if school is out is a plus!
