We've got a great family in Chelsea looking to hire another part-time SmartSitter to help out with their twin girls! They can guarantee 20-25 hours/week and the family can be flexible with the schedule, so if you are interested please note your availability in your application! If you're available for school drop-off, please be comfortable riding a bike a short distance to bring the girls to school. The girls are super fun and active! They go to an English/Spanish immersion school and also speak French. They love gymnastics, ballet, and soccer. The family is really lovely, they travel a lot and are looking to bring on someone great until their next trip in the summer. Spanish speaking is a huge plus! Apply if this sounds like a great fit!
The Ideal Sitter for this Job
Someone who is super fun and gregarious, someone who can be super engaged with the girls, someone who can be a good influence and has a positive mindset! A sitter who is intuitive and can know what needs to be done without being asked. Someone who is comfortable cooking the girls a healthy meal! Being comfortable cooking is a MUST.
Family can be flexible! Please note your availability for a 20-25 hour/week schedule
About the Children
Two girls, 3 year old twins! They speak 3-4 languages (including Spanish and French), they go to school in Chelsea where they speak Spanish at school. They're both very active kids! One loves ballet and one loves soccer. They love to have fun and will love a sitter who can engage and play with them!
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE so your responsibilities will change depending on what hours work for you! Here's what a typical day might look like: Arrive at their home at either at 10am or 2:30pm depending on which schedule you prefer. You will either pick up the girls from playgroup at 10:45am and take them to school an hour later, or pick the girls up from school at 2:50pm. Bring them to activities (ballet or gymnastics). When home, you'll prep dinner for the girls. This means making meals and not just heating things up (for example making a pasta sauce from scratch rather than using one from a can. They use fresh ingredients for their kids). Then it's bath time, then bed! You'll do some of the girls laundry, tidy up their spaces, load the dishwasher, etc. Please be comfortable and have experience performing these household tasks!
Please note if you are able to travel with a family and if you have traveled as a nanny before. The family will be traveling in the summer and if their after-school sitter could come along as their travel sitter, that would be a bonus. Spanish speaking is a huge plus!
