We have a wonderful FLEXIBLE PART-TIME position in the UES. The family has 2 girls, 4 years, and 4 months old. The position is primarily with the 4-year-old, however they will look after the baby in the evenings as well. They are looking for help about 18 hours/week (**see schedule section**). In the evenings, they will be looking after both girls while they are sleeping.

We have an after school position in UES with two kids, a boy, 9, and a girl 5. The SmartSitter would be working in tandem with SAHM to tackle the afternoon routine. The boy has special needs and uses a feeding tube. The family is looking for someone open and communicative who is willing to learn their routine and techniques. The sitter will help with school pick up, taking the kids to activities, the park, and playdates, They will assist with meal prep, the kid's laundry, and tidying up around the house. No specific special needs experience is required beyond a willingness to learn. Mom and dad take on feeding the boy, however they will ask the sitter to prepare the meals for hi and the girl.
It's $25/hour, 15-20 hours/week guaranteed, $400-500/week gross! This position will begin as soon as they find the right fit. Interviews will take place starting immediately as well.
**Please note that the family pays their sitter via a government sponsored program and they will need to be finger printed and complete paperwork to get all set up. This process typically takes 2-3 weeks and in the end it is just like being on payroll.

The family is also looking for someone who will travel with them a few times per year (each trip is usually up to 1 week), and this is usually to someplace relaxing and beautiful (overtime rates apply).
Additionally, if you are open to going with them to Greenwich, CT, primarily during weekdays during the summer, this would also be great. During those days, you would have the opportunity to stay with the family there or commute from NYC, as the train from Grand Central is only 45 minutes, and the additional commute would count as hours worked (and we would pay for the commute).

Someone with experience with meal planning and dinner prep for the kids. The family prefers to set a meal plan the week before so they can get all the ingredients the SmartSitter needs. They are happy to let their new sitter take the leas on this!
To begin, the core schedule is Monday to Thursday or Friday, from 9-5/6 PM. In summer (6/29-8/18) while the kids are in camp, the schedule is Monday to Thursday or Friday, from 3 or 4-7 PM. From 8/21 to beginning of September, they will need extended help Monday to Friday, from 8:30-6:30 PM. From beginning of September to 9/22, the schedule is Monday to Friday, from 2 or 3-7 PM.
