As the daughter of an elementary school teacher, not only does childcare come very naturally to me, but I have spent my life developing my skills and passion for early childhood enrichment. When my niece was born, I was so lucky to be able to be involved in her upbringing, to have spent so much time with her and to have learned so much from the women in my family about childcare and early development.
Since the age of 13, I have worked in a wide range of positions. From camp counselor, to part-time babysitter, to full-time nanny, to teacher's assistant at a nursery school, I have been so fortunate to have developed my childcare skills in such unique environments. It has been one of the greatest joys of my life so far to have worked with and gotten to know such amazing, smart, talented and creative children of all ages! Having a job in childcare is truly ideal because it allows me to integrate my love of children with my passion for art, music, film, theater and performance. I graduated from Bard College a year ago with a BFA in Film and Electronic Arts and it is such a fun challenge to incorporate the skills I learned at Liberal Arts school into my babysitting practice.
It is so important to me to always be learning, creating, laughing and having tons of fun, but most importantly my years of experience have enabled me to be safe and responsible while taking care of kids!
