I love surrounding myself with kids in my spare time. My love for children was initially sparked when I rocked out as Brother Bear in a musical adaptation of Berenstain Bears books. While performing around the country and off-Broadway, I met thousands of our young audience members through meet-and-greets. Their witty critiques of the show were always my favorite part.
I have spent the majority of my post-college years working with children in many different aspects: children's theater, mannying, teaching classes, etc. I speak their language, and they appreciate me for it. I pride myself in being another one of their best friends, while still maintaining an air of authority. Kids teach me valuable lessons and I value their existence every day.
Every person I meet here pursuing their dream. The hard part of living in NYC is finding something else you're passionate about while waiting for that dream to unfold. Childcare is that something for me.
