When I was ten years old, I started to teach how to read and write to my little sister and I started to notice that I had the love and the patience to work with children so I began to get more and more involved with childcare and teaching.
In the united states, I started as a Spanish tutor for two families with one wonderful boy in ages 7-9 each. But later, I ended up working as a part-time baby sitter for both of those families for 3 years.
Later on, I worked with a 2 years old beautiful little girl, which I would take care of her and teach her Spanish and English language. After that, I, worked part-time for a family with an extraordinary 8-year-old girl Lea and a smart 10-year-old boy Jonas. Most of my experience was taking care of boys and after babysitting Lea I realized I wanted to work with more girls so, later on, I joined a family with two super artsy 8 and 11-year-old girls.
In my last position, I worked as an after-school teacher at an Elementary School for the New York department of education; there, I worked with children from ages 6 to 11 in rooms of about 10-20 kids. I was able to prepare innovative art classes for the children to learn the basics to more advanced lessons of Arts, such as drawing, painting, and sculpting and more. I was also able to participate in the after-school activities and help out playing outdoors and organizing the school activities. I met incredible loving kids and parents. I even had parents reach out to me to do part-time babysitting.
Thanks to my experience and training to teach children from toddlers to pre-teens, I have learned how to work with different personalities and needs. I am also an art lover, I paint, sculpt, sew, and love to make arts and crafts. I also Iove theater and music, I worked as a music tutor. I also love sports; I play tennis and volleyball. I always implement my knowledge and skills while taking care of children. I learned to be respectful towards them, always keep my promises, and still be positive.
Over the past years, I have been working hard with children. I keep pushing myself a little more to dedicating myself to learn a lot of skills to educate myself, but most importantly, to educate and serve others.
