About me

I became a professional caregiver because there is such a closeness and significance in the relationship created between the family and myself. Being passionately driven to see every child succeed and flourish, I love the partnership that I get to build with parents on providing instruction, discipline, nurture, and structure needed for the child's necessary development. Simply put, I believe that every child deserves the right to high quality caregiving. The greatest reward is knowing that I get to have a part in someone else's development and success. I have experience working with kids in summer camps, youth theater, after-school programs, and as a babysitter, both for full-day and after-school care.

A motto that I go by is that "if you're not helping, you're not helping!" Generosity is something very important to me. In addition, I endeavor to serve every child with integrity, respect, love, patience, and excellence, all while constantly seeking new ways to improve and build deeper relationship and connection. Time management, a strong work ethic and rapport, attention to detail, taking initiative, setting standards of excellence, a strong passion and love for childcare, all while having fun and making lasting connections, are all key elements to this kind of work that I strongly advocate, and are also elements that I identify myself possessing. Furthermore, I understand that this work is not just a commitment of time, but an acceptance of great responsibility. I strongly believe that I will make an excellent candidate to become your child's caregiver and would consider it a privilege to work with you!

I will be SmartSitting while...

I thoroughly enjoy relaxing and having downtime. For me, nothing beats just being in your own space and having time for yourself; whether that be cooking up a nice meal, catching up on your favorite TV shows, reading books, singing and performing, sleeping, spending quality time with family or friends, talking a walk outside, visiting a museum, and more.

In 5 years, I hope to be...

Simply put, I aspire to always be in a place of happiness and joy. In 5 years, I want to be financially stable, working consistently, impacting and inspiring lives, teaching, helping others, and sharing my passion with the world.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

Having a degree in Music and Vocal Performance, and being very creative, singing is another one of my greatest passions. Over the years, I have taught numerous workshops, movement and music classes, voice lessons, piano lessons, and improvisation and performance, to both public and private schooled children. I have taught for young children beginning at the age of 4 all the way to teenagers (18-19). I love to teach voice, piano, and guitar. My specialty is voice, therefore I am proficient in teaching vocal pedagogy, sight-singing, music theory, music history, diction and language analysis, scales, chord analysis, counterpoint, and modes. I also have a performance background so I have a wide knowledge of theater and performance.
